What We Do

Wandering Warriors is a not-for-profit ex-Service organisation and registered charity that supports veterans of Australia’s Special Operations Command and their families transitioning from military to civilian life. Our support is provided through education, employment, mentoring and respite programs. We provide these programs thanks to the generosity of our network of higher-education institutions and corporate sponsors, as well as private donors. As time and resources allow, we extend our assistance to the wider veteran community.

Our Impact

Wandering Warriors has linked with institutes of higher learning to provide degree programs for selected veterans. Wandering Warriors corporate partners also provide significant and diversified ‘on the job training’ opportunities to undertake trade and technical training.

Wandering Warriors is building a network of Australian companies committed to training and offering work placement for veterans. Companies looking for employees who have demonstrated such qualities as loyalty, integrity, courage, perseverance and humor.

The Australian SAS Regiment and defence force at large, has produced an extensive network of successful individuals in many walks of life; including former soldiers who continue to serve their community in leadership roles in government, in the business world.

Your families are and will remain your greatest support.  The respite program enables families to escape the up-tempo environment at the regiment to unwind, relax and reconnect. The unique nature of special force service where training and operations are conducted.

All donations go towards educations, employment, mentoring and respite for veterans and their families.

To enable us to continue providing support to returned soldiers and their families.
