Wandering Warriors Transitions to Public Company

With great pleasure we can formally announce that Wandering Warriors is now listed on the Australian Business Register as a public company limited by guarantee. We’ve successfully transitioned from an association incorporated in Queensland to a company with a new national outlook. Our great thanks go to the legal team at McCullough Robertson for their efforts on our behalf.

Some roles have changed as part of the transition. We welcome Bob Brett MC as the first CEO of the new company. Bob has had successful military and business careers. He was awarded the Military Cross in Vietnam for his cool courage and bold leadership. We welcome his appointment. Founding CEO Audie Moldre will become the Company Secretary, replacing Mike Whitelaw who will become our senior director in NSW. We thank them both for the work they’ve done to raise the Wandering Warriors profile.

We look forward to delivering fresh initiatives as we continue our work for the veteran community. As well our fundraising events, we aim to announce mentoring, education and employment opportunities for veterans looking for a new challenge. Our younger veterans are a national asset and we will strive to ensure the community does not lose the hope and potential these great young Australians hold.

We thank all our sponsors and supporters who have backed us on the journey so far. We are confident that our best days are ahead of us.

Audie Moldre
