The White Cloud Foundation and QUT Exercise Physiology Clinic for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder was launched today in Brisbane. White Cloud founder Professor Adam Scott told attendees that, “this program is focussing attention on serving/discharged military personnel, first responders (Police, Fire, Ambulance) who are living with, or at risk of developing, PTSD/depression. This is the first of several focussed, coordinated, multi-disciplinary clinics that we are opening over the next 18 months. We will offer these via remote access for regional/rural clients or as face to face walk-in clinics. We will be publishing outcomes from these programs in peer reviewed journals to build upon the evidence base.”

Adam met recently met with the Chief of the Defence Force, Air Marshal Mark Binskin, to outline the White Cloud Foundation model of healthcare and implementation plan. The CDF was very supportive of the initiative and is interested in being updated on developments. Adam also said today that:

“This clinic would not be occurring if it wasn’t for the massive fundraising efforts that Wandering Warriors have done. We are very appreciative of putting the funds that you have raised into a worthy program.”

Wandering Warriors was represented at the launch today by Patron, Ben Roberts-Smith VC, MG, Board Vice-Chairman Dr Paul Alexander AO, COO Mick Donaldson, as well as Audie and Glad Moldre. It’s pleasing to see our fundraising materially assisting this great cause. Keep up the good work Adam!
